2024 Marketing Initiatives

  • Growing partnership with Hilton Grand Vacations. Specifically, a re-structured contract in 2024 that allowed us to increase ADR and still grow volume throughout 2024.
  • OTA promotions exclusive to branded partners through Expedia and Booking.com targeting mobile promotions that are region specific.
  • Utilization of Hilton proprietary applications to capture additional group business on shoulder nights through digital communication.
  • Gold sponsor for the Myrtle Beach Hospitality Association which garnered verbal and tangible recognition from the club during the tournament.
  • Virtual Tours of the property were developed this year to promote Kingston Resorts for guests who are not able to visit in person.
  • Kingston Resorts was represented at 5 golf trade shows in the northeast, Midwest, Eastern Canada and regionally, giving us a golf database of 7,500 new contacts. We send a golf eblast to these contacts monthly promoting the resorts.
  • Several eblasts (email marketing) have been sent to Honors guests who have stayed with us or at another southeastern Hilton resort to promote the property, highlighting upcoming events and experiences reaching 100K loyal members.
  • Through regular postings, influencers and partners, we have doubled our Instagram followers this year for both the resort and for Black Drum Brewing. Facebook has also had great growth and increased engagement. On average, we post up to 5 times per week and encourage you to follow us if you don’t already, @kingstonresorts and @blackdrumbrewing.
  • We partnered with Play Golf Myrtle Beach and hosted “The Q”, a qualifier into the Myrtle Beach Classic hosting 8 Social Media Influencers and 8 professional golfers or aspiring pros. This garnered social media posts as well as opportunities for future events with Play Golf Myrtle Beach.
  • We partnered with the Myrtle Beach Classic in 2024 as the host property and will do so again in 2025.
  • Our Sales staff have made 39,000 sales calls this year to solicit Convention, Association, and Group business, in addition we partner with the Myrtle Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau to host FAM trips to familiarize meeting companies with MB and Kingston Resorts.
  • The Sales team has attended 12 industry Trade Shows to showcase Kingston Resort, they have conducted 144 in-person site visits in 2024 leading to 125 new Group/Association bookings.
